As Shop Manager, you’ll run the day-to-day operations of the store and make sure everything flows smoothly. From greeting customers to managing inventory. You’ll be hands-on with displays, pricing, consignment intake, and checkout, while also building great relationships with consignors, vendors, and regular customers. This role is perfect for someone who’s friendly, organized, and loves variety in their workday. 

Position is 4-5 days a week, 10am-4pm

Pay is depending on experience, $18-$22 an hour

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience & Service
  – Greet customers, answer inquiries, and resolve complaints in a professional, friendly manner
  – Maintain a warm, welcoming in-store atmosphere
• Store Maintenance & Presentation 
  – Keep the store clean, safe, and fully shoppable
  – Create, rotate, and maintain visually appealing displays to encourage sales 
  – Mark down and rotate merchandise when appropriate
• Sales & Transactions 
  – Accurately process customer payments and maintain a clean checkout area
• Consignment Operations & Inventory 
  – Research product and pricing
  – Sort, select, price, tag, and display consignment merchandise 
  – Maintain inventory records and manage intake processes  
• Opening / Closing & Procedures 
  – Follow and enforce all opening and closing procedures
• Unsold Items & Pickups 
  – Carefully pack unsold consigned items at end of consignment term 
  – Coordinate pickup of unsold items with consignors
• Relationship Management 
  – Build and maintain relationships with consignors, vendors, and repeat customers 
  – Provide support as needed for estate sales, assisting on-site and/or processing consignment items going to the shop
